About this game
Balance Car turns the simple act of holding a button into a genuine test of restraint. You drive a pastel cart with a single golden ball as cargo. The cart will roll forever on its own; your job is to feather the throttle so the ball stays in the cradle as the terrain swells and dips beneath you. Hammer the gas on a flat stretch and the cart is happy. Hit the throttle just before a peak and inertia tosses the ball backwards. Coast over a dip and the ball stays calm; floor it on the same dip and the ball pings off the wall. The further you go, the steeper the swells get and the tighter the timing has to be. Crash the ball off the cart and the run ends; your best distance is saved between sessions for the next coffee break. A friendly, no-stakes game that quietly teaches you to feel rhythm in your fingertip.
Tips & tricks
- Tap throttle in short bursts on flat ground - long holds are what knock the ball off.
- Release before a hill crest. Letting gravity carry you up keeps the cart calm.
- Watch the ball, not the road. If it starts sliding, ease off for half a second.
- Steep dips eat momentum. A gentle squeeze of throttle at the bottom prevents stalling.
- If you sense a flip coming, the answer is almost always less throttle, not more steering.
