About this game
Brick Breaker is a fresh take on the timeless arcade favourite that has charmed players since the seventies. A wall of soft, candy-coloured bricks sits at the top of the screen and a glowing pastel ball bounces around your paddle - your only job is to clear them all. Each colour row is worth a different number of points, with the top red row paying the most, so risk-taking is rewarded. Three hearts give you three lives; let the ball slip past your paddle and you lose one. Hit the brick that finishes the level and the whole wall instantly rebuilds for the next stage, with the ball moving a touch faster each time. The paddle responds equally well to a mouse, keyboard arrows, or a dragging finger on mobile, and the bounce angle changes depending on where the ball hits the paddle, giving you real aim control. Tight, addictive, and perfect for a snack-sized arcade run.
Tips & tricks
- Aim the ball with the paddle - hitting the edges sends the ball off at a sharper angle than the centre.
- Clear the top red row early when you can; it pays the most points per brick.
- Don't chase the ball - watch its trajectory and let it come to you for cleaner returns.
- If the ball is heading for a corner, position the paddle slightly off-centre to bend it back across the field.
- On mobile, anchor your finger near the bottom of the screen so you don't accidentally cover the action.
