About this game
Memory Match is a quiet, focused brain trainer that turns the classic concentration card game into a soft pastel ritual. Sixteen cards lie face down on a 4 by 4 grid; behind them are eight pairs of brand-coloured symbols - a pink heart, a yellow star, a green clover, a blue droplet and four more. Flip two cards on your turn. A pair stays open and locks in with a calming green confirmation; a miss flips both back so you can try again. The number of turns is your score, and lower is better - the game remembers your personal best between sessions so every round becomes a small, peaceful contest with yourself. There is no timer pressing on you and no fail state, just the rewarding click of finding the right pair and the gentle satisfaction of finishing in fewer moves than last time. Perfect for a clear-headed five minutes between meetings or first thing in the morning.
Tips & tricks
- Always flip a brand-new card on your first move of a turn - it teaches you the board faster.
- Hold a mental map of each card's position; visualisation beats raw memorisation here.
- When you spot a match, take it immediately rather than 'saving' it - the position can blur after a few turns.
- If you have to guess, pick a card near one you already know - confirming neighbours is more valuable than random flips.
- Trying to beat your best? Slow down your first three turns to lock in the layout before going on the attack.
