About this game
Flap Bird is a single-tap arcade flyer with deceptively brutal rhythm. A round, candy-pink bird with a tiny yellow beak holds the centre of the screen while pastel sky-blue pillars roll in from the right. Every tap, click, or press of the space bar gives the bird a single upward flap; gravity does the rest. The gap between the pillars shrinks every five points until it bottoms out at three bird-heights, so the further you fly the less margin you have for error. Hit a pillar, the ceiling, or the bright green ground and the run ends instantly - but a new attempt is always one tap away. Your personal best is saved locally so each session becomes a small duel against your last record. With buttery 60 fps motion, soft cartoon colours, and no power-ups or distractions to slow the loop, this is pure flow-state arcade flying.
Tips & tricks
- Tap in a steady rhythm instead of mashing - the bird rises in a clean parabola when you give it room.
- Aim slightly above the gap centre on each pillar so gravity carries you into the safe zone.
- Watch the next pillar, not the one you're entering - you need the height plan one step ahead.
- If you drift too high, skip a tap on purpose to drop quickly without losing horizontal speed.
- When the gap shrinks past ten points, slow your breathing - panic-flaps almost always end the run.
