About this game
Moto Hill is a pocket-sized physics racer set on a never-ending pastel landscape. You ride a candy-coloured motorcycle that wants nothing more than to climb the next hill, but each crest you crest also wants nothing more than to send you tumbling backwards. Squeeze the throttle to build speed, ease off before steep descents to keep the rear wheel from launching, and use the tilt controls in the air to land flat. There is no track and no finish line - the world generates fresh terrain beneath you as you go, and your only enemy is the angle of your own back. Crash by flipping completely over and the run ends; your travelled distance becomes your score, and your personal best is saved between sessions. Quick to start, hard to master, with a soft palette and a forgiving feel that makes restarts welcome instead of frustrating.
Tips & tricks
- Lean back over the lip of a hill - landing on the rear wheel first beats a nose-first thud almost every time.
- Tap throttle instead of holding it on steep descents; momentum carries you further than full gas does.
- In the air, small tilt inputs are stronger than big ones - tap and release rather than holding the key.
- If you sense a flip coming, kill the throttle and use the opposite tilt; the ground often catches you before you go over.
- Watch a few terrain peaks ahead, not the wheel beneath you - you'll react one beat earlier.
